Great image! I bookmarked your site a while back and just stopped in. Really good storytelling with the composition. I like the way the caricature establishes the emotional statement.
Keep laughing even if the times get rougher ... excellent storytelling & a great photograph, Ilan. Good to see you returned. Been missing you, my friend. All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.

The juxtaposition of the two are timeless, Ilan! A tear and a smile, as Kahlil Gibran once said.
Ilan, it was great to hear from you. I've often wondered how you were and seeing your comment on my blog was like an answer to prayer.I love this photo, especially how the faces play off one another. That is one of those shoot now photos and think about it later. Great capture. In case you are curious here is a link showing several more of my Road Trip photos. Love you title...it's perfect. There is a great contrast between her "ha" expression and his somewhat grumpy one. I like how her side of the frame is bright and colourful while his is more subdued. Very cool shot and so nice to see you back once again!
